Shanghai World Expo 2010

Hi everyone, I'm back from Shanghai!

I visited many of my uncles and aunties. And you know what, they even gave me Hongpaos(red packets)!! During the trip, we had many gatherings with my uncles and aunties at the restaurants in Shanghai.

I also went to the parks there.The names of the parks are 长风公园(chang feng gong yuan) and 中山公园（zhong shan gong yuan). Do you know how many times I went to the parks? Four times!! What did I do there? You won't believe it ,but I only did two things! I rode the electrical boat three times and another time on a bicycle boat.The bicycle boat needs to be paddled in order for it to move and also has a handle to move left and right. You might think it's boring,but not for me!Cos the lake in 长风公园(chang feng gong yuan) is very big, Singapore doesn't have it and I only go to Shanghai once in a few years. The other thing is just eating to the restaurant in 中山公园（zhong shan gong yuan) with my mother and younger brother and my mother's long time no see friends in Shanghai.

And now the best part-Shanghai World Expo!!

I went to the Expo two times.I remembered that I went to the Denmark Pavillion first.I saw the real mermaid there.

Let me tell you, the mermaid is the actual one from Denmark!!

After PSLE-JEP

Sorry,I have not been writing blogs as I am busily preparing for PSLE. 
I am really looking forward to JEP. This year , it will be our turn to create something for the little kids. How I wish I can still play the games and win lots of things.

I will want to have a group with Xin Yi,Wei Ying and me. You can choose the other two members.
After PSLE, on October 13,I will not be in school anymore until 25 October. I am going for a holiday to Shanghai,China. I will be able to eat all my favourite food there. I can also play at the parks there. But at the same time, I will still miss Singapore! Don't worry,I will still come back!

My journal

Well, I think that I have improve a lot since term 1.

My results for SA1 is better than the class test. I did not meet my targets for all my subjectsfor the class test but I improved in SA1 and exceed my targets for English and Science. Of course, I do not think that is enough. I must at least exceed all my targets and try to get high A's if possible. I would work even harder for Prelim and PSLE.

I like my old group as we co-orporate with each other quite well. Luqman,as our leader has done a good job in helping us and giving each other tasks so that we would not be left out with nothing to do. Amirah also put in a lot of effort by finding resourses for our group board and thought of our group name "Boomz".

Next term, I will have a new group. I as a leader, will need to control the group. I like being a leader as I like to collect things. I hope that my new group can co-operate with each other. Well,but I am not very sure about Donovan. But I think with the help of two of the class-com members, he should be ok.

Oral exam just past.I think I did not do very well. I think the english oral is easier than chinese.
Never mind .I will work harder next time.

Last journal entry of the term

Yippee! Tomorrow will be the last day of the term. I am having a great time here in 6 Courage with lots of friends. The class test had just and results are out. For me, I think my results are not very good as they did not meet my expectations and are at the range of low B.

I like to thank Luqman for being a good leader in our group and helping each and everyone when we are in need . I would also like to Amirah for preparing things for our group especially for the group board and making our group name "Boomz" .

journal entry 3

I am packed with things everyday, even on weekends.

Monday, we had to do an art piece for Google. It is a competition and the theme is Our Singapore. I had my first chinese structured started.

The next day, I had to do an article review on accidents. I wrote about 6 teenagers who died in a car accident.

On Wednesday, I had homework from MT,MA,EL and SC and I still have tuition. But in the end ,I still manage to finish my homework in time.

We talked about responsibility in words and deeds and about graciousness during assembly. We had to write about what we learnt in our blogs.

We started our first english structure programme. We did a composition about graciousness.

Next week is gonna start again.

About graciousness

What is Graciousness?I think graciousness is showing kindness and courtesy around me. Graciousness is important as it lets people of different races united, help each other and and makes the society harmonious. Some examples of graciousness are keeping quiet when someone is talking, give up your seat to a pregnant women, an old man or a mother caring a child.

I think lots of Singaporeans do not have graciousness. Some people even pretend to sleep on the priority seat on the MRT and do not bother about the people who needs the seat more than they need.

Responsibility in words and deeds

During assembly, we talked about what is responsiblity in words and deeds. First we have to show responsibility to ourselves. To do that we have to mind what we say as it might hurt people's feelings. We also must mind our manners and behaviour because this can tell your character wherever you are whether it is in the school , in public or at home. Next, you must also behave properly in the public. We can pick up the litter on the floor. At home, we can help our parents to do the chores after you have finish your work or when you are free. When you are at school, we have to take of the school properties and also wear our uniforms properly at school.

Journal entry 2

This week had been a busy week.

Now I know all my friends name in my class. We did a draft of something we like and symbolises us during our art lesson on Monday.

On Tuesday, we had a mini game with another class to see who is stronger in "one-leg". But my group and Remee's group did not have a chance to play with the other class so we played against each other. We did an article review on the article we brought.

Had lots of homework on Wednesday. My Chinese teacher gave two home work and I did them within around one to two hours. The grammar worksheet was quite ok and I was able to do it. Hope there were not much corrections.

During assembly, the prefects had the prefect investiture. My brother had become a prefect! The whole of P6 took their height and weight and I grew 3 cm.

Had a fun lesson during Health Education. Mdm Sabiah is funny in the way that lets me enjoy her lesson.

Hmm, I am so tired. Structure programmes is going to start next week.

Journal

I am exited on the first day of school. But I had to wake up at 6.30am .I got used to it after a few days.I could see my friends again as well as new friends. I also get to see all the teachers. Did not do much on first day of school . Had an Introduction about everyone in my class. We did not have banding on first day so we stayed as one class the whole day. Got to go to the com lab and learnt about thinkquest.

Next day, had a bit of fun as first period is PE. We had lessons going on as usual and had math and mother tongue banding.I had to bring a lot of books. Made some new friends. The day past by so quickly.

On Wednesday, Everybody went to take photos for the Smart card. Went to the Science Class for the first time. I learnt how to create a blog.

Today,had our usual lessons. I am quite happy at school with friends and teachers. Days past very fast and soon it is going to be time for all P6's PSLE. Wish everyone good luck! Hoping to aim for 250 and above.

I guess tomorrow will have fun too! We have PE!
